2019 Christmas Gift Guide is here! 26 November, 2019

2019 Christmas Gift Guide is here!

Good morning, world! As we are approaching the end of November, it is high time to think about completing this year’s Christmas gift shopping. I mean, seriously, if you’re planning to shop online, do it before the end of November! The only thing worse from getting reindeer socks for Christmas is getting reindeer socks after the New Year because they were ordered too late!

Keeping that in mind, I present to you my first official Christmas Gift Guide! All stores linked below offer International Shipping within 3 weeks or less, so you have a chance to get your gift list sorted before it’s time to throw them under the tree. 🙂 I also tried to offer the “affordable” and “splurge” options for each category. Because you have the right to decide who do you want to spend the most money on. 😉

FOR THE TECHIE

Affordable:

Tile Pro 2020 finder.

I could really use that one, to be honest! Enables you to locate all the crap you keep on losing. Win.

Splurge:

B&O Beoplay H9 AW19.

Those are limited edition and absolutely beautiful. Stunningly expensive, too, but I am that person who spent her first “real” salary on camera gear for hubby, so no judgment here! 😉

FOR THE BOOK WORM

Affordable:

Please stop touching me..and other haikus by cats”.

A must-read AND a perfect coffee table book, in one! Also, definitely a conversation starter, so get it for someone who throws parties and then feels awkward not knowing what to talk to the guests about. 😀

Splurge:

Banned Books Set by Juniper Books.

Browse their whole website and FALL IN LOVE! They have book sets for every taste and offer custom-made ones, too! I know that books are for reading, not for looking pretty on a shelf, but why not combine both? 🙂

FOR THE SKINCARE ENTHUSIAST

Affordable:

10 Day Transformation Kit by Algenist.

Ok, I could have picked something cheaper as an affordable option, but this one is worth it! Their cosmetics are vegan, safe & clean, they base on natural ingredients AND they work (which is not always the case with all eco brands out there!).

Splurge:

Award-winning moisturizers from Clark’s Botanicals.

This brand was introduced to me by one of the influencers who I stalk religiously – Grace Atwood. She swears by them, so naturally, I became intrigued. I’ve only got a chance to sample their moisturizer (because damn, they do cost a lot!) and it is AMAZING.

FOR SOMEONE WHO YOU DON’T KNOW THAT WELL

Affordable:

This classic 2020 Diary with eco-leather cover.

A truly safe choice. Also, it comes in many different colors, which makes it a pretty versatile gift.

Splurge:

This gift set that smells so good!

No Christmas gift guide of a hygge lover would be complete without at least one candle! I wouldn’t mind being on a receiving end of this set! Much more thoughtful than designer socks. 😉

FOR THE LITTLE ONES

Affordable:

This lovely wooden mini kitchen by John Lewis.

I am a sucker for all wooden toys, they’re classy, pretty AND sturdy, too! Also, play kitchens tend to be a hit with most kids, regardless of their age and gender. 🙂

Splurge:

This gorgeous teepee by Vilac.

Vilac has to be my personal #1 among all toy brands! Everything they make is both beautiful and a win with my kids. This teepee is a prettier alternative to those famous IKEA play tents which can be found everywhere (including our own house in Doha 😉 ).

FOR THE PLANNING & ORGANIZING FREAK

Affordable:

Passion Planner, undated, in aqua blue.

I’ve known this brand since 2015, which is when I got my very first one of their planners. I use it alongside my bullet journal and love it! The 2020 Passion Planner is already on my desk, ready to be filled in with pointless chores. 😀

Splurge:

This leather-free personal planner from Kikki.k.

Kikki.k is a Swedish stationery brand that doesn’t get nearly as much hype as it deserves. I’ve ordered from them multiple times and loved every single item. Their fancy planner collection is amazing, plus they offer monogramming for that extra personal touch!

FOR THE COFFEE ADDICT

Affordable:

Aeropress portable coffee maker.

A coffee press for someone who prefers the taste of espresso to french press coffee. Compact, inexpensive and extremely easy to use.

Splurge:

This Smart Coffee Grinder.

In the era of everything-smart, why not a coffee grinder? 😀 That’s something that most people wouldn’t get for themselves due to the price tag. Therefore, it makes a perfect gift!

FOR THE CRAFTY ONE

Affordable:

Hello Winter scrapbooking collection.

Scrapbooking accessories will always be a winner with anyone interested in DIY and crafts. Also, they are inexpensive enough to allow you room for buying more Xmas wine, yay!

Splurge:

This brush lettering kit, including a book.

I’ve recently discovered brush lettering and I am hooked! Get this set for someone looking for a new hobby, they will be forever grateful. 🙂

FOR THE FOOD LOVER

Affordable:

A Downton Abbey cookbook.

Yup, you read it right! 😀 If you happen to know someone who’s both a foodie and Downton Abbey fan, you just found a perfect gift!

Splurge:

Darth Vader iron casserole by Le Creuset.

Yup, again you read it right! 😉 Le Creuset has recently introduced a whole Star Wars-themed collection! Unfortunately, a big chunk of it seems to be sold out everywhere I looked, but you can still find some gems like the Darth Vader iron casserole online.
